Totally unprofessional in their HR process and the way they approach senior leaders. I got interviewed for a senior role which lasted for 2 months and got an official offer to join their team. Their offer had a responce deadline of one week which I used to quit my pervious role and confirm that I accept their offer. The only problem is that when I confirmed and accepted their offer they said that they no longer need this role and that they will go under team restructuring. Which is fine I do work in tech startup and I know that companies need to be agile not only in their delivery but in the way they operate too. The only bad thing is that I already quit my job to come work for them and they ghosted me, leaving me with no choice but to go back to my previous job. Not the best situation to find myself in, I know! Nonetheless the Co-founder was decent enough to give me a closure meeting and we departed on a good note.
