When the interview started the recruiter asked if I was okay with the company way of working which was a bit of a red flag. Working hours from 13-21 or 10-19, strictly on site and no sick days leave. The recruiter started recording the interview and exited physically went out of the office. In the middle of the interview I called her to ask a question but no answer. Feedback was after 2 weeks, overall bad interview experience

HR interview - 30 min call with recruiter who showed off as friendly nice guy who wants to help you get the job, but ended up ghosting me after 4 successful rounds of interview. He talked about the company and the position and asked a couple of questions about me and my experience. 2. Interview with HR Manager - 50 minutes call where we discussed the position and my experience to details from non-technical perspective. After this I had additional 30 min call with recruiter to give me feedback on previous round and prepare me for next 2 rounds.Tehnički intervju3. Software Architecture and Design interview - 50 minutes call with 2 Frontend Developers where we talked about an applications implementation (in miro board) 4. Live Coding - 50 minutes call with 1 Frontend Developer. Task was to write a custom stringify function. After live coding interview I had a phone call with recruiter when he gave me an amazing feedback saying that I performed great on live coding and that they want to have 1 more round which would be meeting CEO in person and that he will reach out to me soon to schedule it. After that I never heard from him again. I sent 2 follow up mails and never got an answer. My advice to everyone is not to waste your time on so many interview rounds just to be ghosted at the end. (the same thing happened to my colleague who applied for a different position, so that's obviously how they treat all candidates who invest several hours on their selection process)

Pitanja su bila na višem nivou od očekivanog za ovu poziciju i delovala su više kao filter nego kao realna procena sposobnosti za posao. Proces selekcije je zahtevan i ponuđeni uslovi nisu dovoljno konkurentni u odnosu na tržišne standarde i očekivanja.”

Loše stvari: HR IntervjuZanimljiv proces selekcije koji se sastojao iz 4 kruga. Prvi je HR krug koji je trajao skoro pa sat vremena. HR je predstavljala kompaniju, benefite a potom sam ja ispričala svoje radno iskustvo. Usledila su i neka "Cultural fit" pitanja, gde me je HR pitala kako bih se snašla u odredjenim situacijama poput rešavanja konflikta sa menadžerom i drugim kolegom..Tehnički intervjuNakon toga, zakazan mi je tehnički intervju sa njihovim seniorima (koji nisu nužno na projektu) koji je bio maksimalno prijatan! Jedan od boljih tehničkih intervjua gde nije bilo tipičnih JS/TS pitanja i nisu pecali da vide da li znam neke detalje koji se lako izgugaju, već su bila dobro osmišljena pitanja sa primerima. Intervju traje sat vremena i pored pitanja, bilo je i pisanja koda - da se dopune neki njihovi primeri koji zaista nisu teški. Jedan primer je bio da se napiše odredjena funkcija u JS-u a potom da se upotpuni TS tipovima sa genericima. Bilo je i primera vezano za framework gde je ideja bila da pokažete da li znate lifecycle metode/hookove i odredjene pojedinosti frameworka. Sledeći korak uglavnom bude intervju sa klijentom tehničke prirode, ali u mom slučaju toga nije bilo već sam imala Meet The Team intervju gde sam u opuštenoj atmosferi mogla da saznam sve što me zanimalo o projetku, timu, problematikama, dinamici tima, itd. Kolege su bile jako prijatne i iskreno odgovarale na sva pitanja, čak su mi pošteno odgovorili i mane i šta bi se moglo unaprediti na projektu. Ovaj krug selekcije mi se posebno svideo jer upoznaješ moguće buduće kolege, možeš odmah da vidiš da li ćete "kliknuti" i potencijalno da otkriješ red-flagove (kojih ovde nije bilo :)) Sledeći i poslednji korak mi je trebao biti upoznavanje sa CTO-om klijenta od čega se odustalo jer je pozicija zatvorena u medjuvremenu zbog internih promena u kompaniji. Fer su ispali jer su mi javili i za to i ponudili da će mi se javiti ponovo čim se nešto novo otvori - gde neću morati ponovo da imam ni HR ni prvi tehnički intervju sa njima, što je za pohvalu! Zaista su mi se i javili nakon nekoliko nedelja, ali sam ja u medjuvremenu našla novi posao. Svidela mi se kompanija i njihova priča, sa zadovoljstvom ću se nekada prijaviti ponovo.

The strange thing was that the recruiter asked me to tell her more about the projects I had worked on. I explained this in detail in my CV. It seems as if my CV was not read before the meeting. Basically, apart from this situation, the interview went smoothly. What left a disappointing impression was that a few days after the meeting with HR, I received an email informing me that they had decided on another candidate. As they stated in the email, the reason was not the HR interview because the recruiter thought I would be a great fit for their team, but rather insufficient technical knowledge. As they explained in the email, some people from the company looked at the tasks they had given me and assessed that I currently did not have enough technical knowledge for their position. Ќе измислат некој ПИП некоја фора дека не се задоволни од вашите перформанси и ќе ве тераат да потпишете. Loše stvari: HR Intervju First of all, I want to say that I know people who had a very positive experience with this company, so your mileage may vary. I applied for a frontend engineer position at Polar Cape and got an HR interview a week later. It was your usual run-of-the-mill interview, the recruiters were cool and friendly—no complaints there. The next step was a technical interview, which was scheduled three weeks after the first one. That also went well, the interviewer was friendly and gave me positive feedback. Again, no complaints. The next day, I had a final interview with a manager of the company. That one went well, too—no complaints. On the same day, one of the recruiters called to inform me that an interview with the client would be scheduled within a week. And this is where things started to get weird. There was no call for the entire week. I called them, and they claimed the client hadn't decided on an interview date. A few days later, they called back. The client was offering three interview slots. I could have my pick, they told me. I chose the first one, two days from then. The next day, I received another call: the client had withdrawn the position. At the time of writing, the position is still open on LinkedIn, their website, and is being promoted. This left me scratching my head.
How can the client change their mind within a day?
Why is the position still published? In conclusion, I've heard good things about this company; the employees seem to like it, most people applying there have a good experience, and they usually receive timely updates throughout the process. But if you see them stalling, write them off and look elsewhere. Last but not least, here’s my score:

 -1 for being dropped like a hot potato
 -1 for the last-minute cancellation
 -1 for a suspicious excuse and not having the decency to close the process
